I ask that the Supervisors demand transparency from a School Board that has too long prioritized flashy administrative headquarters for itself, and atriums and pools amid new developments, while existing communities' trailers just age. Let's also consider whether raises should focus more on starting salaries, which teachers often need for their own education and families, than eventually generous lockstep raises. And the freedom, opportunity and healthy competition of home and private schooling.
