If a constituent wanted to ask you to make a motion to reconsider a decision from the last meeting, they wouldn’t be able to. You would have disabled comments for this meeting. Remote participation would be voted on but not available at the next meeting. So you would have stripped the public’s ability to comment the next meeting with a promise to let them speak at other meetings. People wouldn’t have knowledge of how to tune in remotely next meeting. If we can’t speak, don’t meet!
