A. Proposed Annual Budget – To Obtain Written and Oral Comment from the Public Concerning the Proposed Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2021 as Contained in the Proposed Fiscal Plan, the Proposed Calendar Year 2020 Tax Rates, and the Proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2026 Capital Improvement Programs
Why are the previous comments not available to be read???? The banner shows 69 comments however I only see less than a dozen. Is there a reason they don't want us to read what points others are posting? Did we strike a nerve about things like tax cuts and pay raises???? SPEAK UP PW!!!
I oppose the proposed tax increase to the FY2021 budget. Increasing taxes on our county at this time is irresponsible. The residents of PWC should be supported and adjustments should be made to the budget to give the residents the opportunity to recover. Again, I oppose the tax increase.
Now, during this epidemic, is not the time to raise taxes. Too many people are out of work, just trying to stay in their homes and feed their families. Revisit this when the covid-19 crisis is over or managed.
Now is not the time to raise taxes and begin new Capital Improvement Programs while many county residents are out of work or facing reduced incomes and greatly reduced retirement accounts. The COVID-19 crisis changes everything. Keep the real property tax rates the same as last year, drop the vehicle license fee and put new Capital Improvement Programs on hold. Our neighboring counties are not raising taxes during this crisis and there is no justification for PWC to do so. God Bless you all.

i oppose excessive tax increase as unnecessary and burdensome especially now. newly elected BOS needs to make plans in line with a reasonable budget.
