Is the BOCS trying to drive people out of PWC? The proposed real property tax rate increase would result in the greatest single year tax rate increase in PWC history. That is not what people voted for. During this time of economic crisis our surrounding counties have recognized that this in not the time to increase real property taxes and have responsibly decided not to increase tax rates at this time. It would be irresponsible for the PWC BOCS not to follow their examples. Thank you.
