I oppose Johnson-Firth for this position. She is a known open boarders, open immigration attorney and will not be partial in her decisions regarding potential votes on 287g. She also has zero law enforcement experience which should be a requirement for this board.
I oppose appointing Lisa Johnson-Firth to the Regional Jail Board because her record shows she will not support Sheriff Hill, who was ELECTED because of his stance on 287g. I believe she will place criminals back on our streets.
Ms Johnson-Firth has a strong and varied background in law, holding positions in a law firm and with several non profit legal assistance groups. My personal position is that 287(g) is one of the most egregious relics of the Corey Stewart era as Board of Supervisors Chair. I do not know her position on the subject but I am impressed with the range of experience working in law and withe community support groups. We need a legal and law enforcement system that the disadvantaged can trust.
I oppose Johnson-Firth's appointment. Though her heart might be in the right place, I am concerned that she would not be objective enough to make decisions that are in the best interest of the safety of all of our community members. I am concerned that there is a skewed perspective that no criminal aliens should be given over to DHS for removal proceedings. If allowed to remain, this puts immigrant community members at risk of being further victimized by these criminals.
I oppose the appointment of Lisa Johnson-Firth. They are unqualified, with no direct experience that would make them a suitable, informed candidate for this position. The Manassas Regional Jail Board should be balanced politically, and chaired by individuals who have worked in law enforcement, military and/or the jail system.

I strongly favor Ms Johnson-Firth. She is a longtime resident, a skilled attorney, and owner of a business in Manassas. She is well aware of community needs. She will represent the community with ability and thoughtfulness.
I oppose the appointment of Lisa Johnson to the Prince William-Manassas Regional Jail Board. She is not supportive of the safety and well-being of the county.
The County needs to keep the 287(g) program. It works to keep dangerous illegal immigrants out of our communities, making Prince William residents safer.
We just re-elected Sheriff Hill to keep our fair, common-sense 287(g) measure to protect our families, our neighborhoods, and most of all, immigrants who come to work hard, learn, and stay out of trouble.
Not only does she seem to oppose it, she’s evasive: “‘I can’t elaborate now but am willing to if I get appointed. Just suffice to say there are many problems with it,’ said Johnson-Firth.” - Potomac Local, May 18, 2020.
I oppose Lisa T. Johnson in being appointed to the Manassas Regional Jail Board. She does not have qualified experience nor is she concerned for the welfare of this county.
Ms. Johnson-Firth has not shown any real experience or knowledge relative to activity of, and the reason for the existence of, the Manassas Regional Jail. I oppose her appointment to the Manassas Regional Jail Board.

Glenn Hill was elected by the people
Ms. Lisa T. Johnson-Firth would make an excellent addition to the Jail Board. Her legal background will prove useful and insightful on the Jail Board.
