While Mr. Haynes has been actively involved in Prince William County Boards and politics he occupies the Citizen-at-Large seat, which I would like to see used to include some fresh air and thoughts into to Board's decision making. He has ample experience working on Boards, but that is negated by his lack of relevant experience and education for the work of the Jail Board. Change is good.

I support Mr. Haynes’ candidacy, and all others (regardless of party) seeking to work with Sheriff Hill to run a safe, fair, law-abiding jail with opportunities for inmates to better themselves.

I would rather someone with more experience in relevant fields take this position--or let the position remain open for someone else to step in. Mr. Haynes' background seems better suited to a different position in the county. Perhaps land management?
