I share your concern for road workers and school children. But to keep the speed camera project focused on safety, not an unfair, unwelcoming, and antagonistic hidden tax, please (1) study and also use alternatives like the "Your Speed" signs in Manassas and Cardinal Drive, (2) limit it and have signs for when construction work or school start/stop is occurring, preferably with blinking lights, (3) post ongoing data on site selection, speeding rates, and continued need.
