I want to express my wholehearted support for the Mosque expansion because contrary to the opposition’s belief that it will make traffic and parking worse, it is the only solution that will actually help with these issues. By allowing Dar Al Noor to expand and provide their members, guests and the PWC community the much needed facility and parking spaces, we won’t have to resort to parking in the neighborhoods and walking across Hoadly Rd. during service times and special events.
I support the expansion. County approved the building size, there will be 780 parking spaces, more than needed and it will eliminate the peoples’ walk.
I live in this area more than 20 years. I don’t see any traffic jam other than Friday prayers, 11 AM – 2:30 PM and police officers control it. In my opinion, we are very blessed to have Dar Al Noor. It does lots of activities such as ACTS, VOICE, Hopes 786, ICNA, health/Wellness, free foods for needy and homeless.
I support this expansion because the Dar Alnoor Community Center is an integral part of the fabric of Prince William County, and provides many critical services to the community free of charge.
