Please allow this CPA to be initiated. An open discussion with facts is important in determining the future for the county. I am a longtime resident of Catharpin, Virginia and I graduated from the Prince William County school system. I support DSIC and ask for you to initiate the process.

My wife and I support the Innovation Center CPA! We live in the Gainesville District with our children Prince William County and recognize this is good for the county. Smart growth in one area with tax revenues, tech growth, jobs, outweigh outweigh fearmongering of electricity and water scarcities. Please vote Yes to initiate the CPA study.

I agree with staff's recommendation to not initiate the comprehensive plan amendment. The proposal brings many concerns around anticipated water impacts, significant changes to community and environmental character, noise increase and impacts, vegetation loss, and adequacy of infrastructure.

My wife and I have lived in Catharpin since 1993. It's where we raised our family. And we'd like to have a voice in deciding the future of the neighborhood we call home. The CPA process is robust and thorough. Please initiate it so we can get ALL the facts we
need -- and have an intelligent, objective, neighborly discussion on what happens next. I’m a Catharpin landowner, and I support the CPA. Thank you.

As a property owner on Sanders Lane, I am writing to express my support for moving forward with a study to evaluate the proposed land use and rezoning changes in our area.
I believe it is important to gather objective facts, evaluate the potential impacts and benefits, and provide an opportunity for the residents and property owners who are directly affected to be heard.
Passing this amendment simply ensures that decisions are based on sound information and meaningful community input.

As a Catharpin landowner, I respectfully urge you to support initiating this study. Gathering accurate information is the first step toward responsible and informed decision-making. Conducting a study is no way a promise and will provide the County with an opportunity to evaluate the facts, assess potential impacts, and consider the perspectives of those most directly affected. The study will ensure that decisions are based on reliable data rather than assumptions and/or emotions. Thank you.

Dark money groups opposing data center development claim they are raising our electric rates. If that is true, WHY does Virginia have much lower rates than its neighbors. In April 2026, Virginia's average rate was $0.1211/kWh; Maryland's was $0.1867/kWh; Pennsylvania's was $0.1486/kWh; and DC was a whopping $0.2342/kWh. These other jurisdictions have little to no data centers yet considerably higher rates. Data centers actually lower our rates, because of their large investment in the grid.

I support the CPA study, this is an opportunity for gathering the right information and not the misinformation being spread out there. As a homeowner I believe this is a great opportunity for responsible growth in Prince William County. I ask you to please Vote YES.

    Thank-you

I fully support initiating the CPA for the Dulles South Innovation Center. As a Catharpin resident of 13 years and Sanders Ln landowner I see the results of ongoing changes along Sanders Ln every day. Interesting traffic, expanding power infrastructure, development on our doorstep in Loudon County will continue regardless of PWC decisions. PWC should initiate the study to gather the data required to make informed decisions for how our area can best serve and support our communities in PWC.

I support this initiative. This decision should be made with data and facts not by non truths and personal feelings.

I support the initiation of the CPA. I am a landowner in Western PW County for almost 30 years. There is a lot of misinformation and strong feelings about this development in the community that I feel are swaying decisions. Initiating this CPA will ensure we have smart development based on facts. Development in western PW County is going to happen and I'd rather it be planned and well thought out.

As a Prince William County landowner, I urge you to support initiating this study. Gathering accurate information is the first step toward responsible decision-making. A study allows the County to evaluate the facts, consider the impacts, and hear from the people who live and own property here. Please ensure that the voices of Prince William County residents and landowners are the foundation of this decision.

As a landowner in Catharpin since 1988, I support this review. The inevitable change is already here, and the bucolic farmland that once was here no longer exists. This proposal offers a thoughtful, knowledge-based path forward that delivers winning benefits for all sides.

With the PW Digital Gateway dead, it only makes sense to at least consider this CPA. This area is located in the corner of PW County away from neighborhoods and schools. It would allow PW County to recoup the tax revenue lost and help alleviate the tax burden on everyday, hard working PWC residents. Considering the proposal just makes sense.

Today's vote is not about approving development. It is about deciding whether Prince William County should begin a transparent public planning process before making a final decision. A YES vote does not predetermine the outcome. It simply ensures that any future decision is based on facts, analysis, and public input. I respectfully encourage the Board to vote YES to initiate the Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPA) and allow that public process to move forward.

As a resident of Aldie Road, I support Comprehensive Plan Amendment #CPA2026-00012, Dulles South Innovation Center, and ask the board to vote yes! We, the longtime landowners and residents of this area deserve to be heard! Catharpin is NOT the rural area it once was, it has grown and progressed so much. This study should be given a "YES" vote.
