I strongly support this initiative. This will allow us to see the facts and see if data centers are a good idea for our area.

I am a resident of Gainesville district. I SUPPORT the Dulles South Innovation Center because it is " the right project in the right location". Placing this innovation campus on this location provides a designated area for the future technology infrastructure, helping preserve the county's residential, commercial, business centers and all community centers while avoiding dispersed development.

    I SUPPORT.
    Thank you for your consideration.

I have lived in Catharpin for 20 years. It’s already no longer rural. It’s time to make it official and put the land to better use. Please vote to improve Prince William County by studying a change this area.

I strongly support this initiation. This is a great opportunity for the county to at least study and fully analyze the potential impacts, benefits, and challenges before making any final decision.

I am a Prince William County landowner and support initiating the proposed study. A study is simply an opportunity to gather facts and make informed decisions. Opposing a study means opposing the chance to collect information and better understand the issues. Any concerns should be addressed through a transparent review of the facts. Please give the greatest weight to the voices of Prince William County residents and landowners.

Data centers are needed, WILL be built, WILL pay enormous revenues to their governmental hosts, and PWC residents WILL fund them as paying customers. You can insist our neighbor counties receive these revenues or intelligently invite and control their presence in appropriate PWC locations like DSIC, imposing rigorous demands to mitigate all impacts, and receiving enormous revenues to the benefit of all PWC citizens while forging lasting partnerships with this growing, essential industry.

I support this study. If we can't be in favor of getting more objective data about a project to make the best decision for the county then it is emotional at best and should not serve as anything more than evidence to help the board decide to move forward with a study. Opposing more data is not the same thing as opposing data centers and utterly nonsensical to be wasting the boards time to consider let's get more data about a proposed project and then decide. Thank you for your consideration.

Please VOTE to INITIATE the CPA for DSIC tomorrow, July 7th. And for PWC's long term prosperity, please support DSIC through to its completion. Why:
REVENUE - ease the burden on TAXPAYING VOTERS
LOCATION - ideally located at the remote northeastern edge of PWC
SMART GROWTH - developer funded infrastructure
Finally, DSIC the overwhelming support of affected residents.

Sound decisions cannot be made without all the facts. Data Centers use less water and electricity than Agriculture, Mining, Energy and Manufacturing, and contribute less to all forms of pollution. We are now a technology dependent society. Please, gather all the facts. Make an informed decision. As a 38 year resident of PWC, 17 years in Catharpin, I support a study of this project that offers benefits to all PWC residents and significant considerations for the residents of Catharpin.

Initiating this study is an important step toward strengthening the county's long-term economy. It offers an opportunity to expand the commercial tax base and help reduce the property tax burden on homeowners. While planning staff provide recommendations, the Board is responsible for considering the county's broader economic future.

I am writing to express my support for initiating the proposed study. This is simply an opportunity to gather facts, evaluate the available information, and hear directly from the people who actually live in and are affected by decisions in our community. Conducting a study does not predetermine an outcome; it allows for informed, evidence-based decision-making. I believe our community deserves a transparent process grounded in facts rather than assumptions. All in all, I support this!!

I have lived in the area my whole life and watched development from Fairfax to Gainesville over the last 40 years. Development is coming to this area and landowners should have a say in what comes.

This begins the discussion. An open discussion should be allowed for property owners.

I understand initiating a CPA is a difficult decision, but the central issue is: What land use produces the greatest net public benefit?

Compared with likely alternative development such as new housing, a well regulated data center can generate substantial tax revenue while placing far less demand on schools, roads, sewer capacity, and recurring public services.
